Unfortunately, book loans via the virtual card are currently not possible in university libraries. It remains necessary to use the physical card (the one all students and employees receive upon entering the university). This card is also available to external users and can be obtained at one of the Card Service Centres. It is the first step in successful library registration. 

Although we fully support the digitization processes at the university and in our libraries, at this time, technical limitations prevent the use of the virtual ISIC card for book loans. The technology used at libraries to read user account data currently works only with a physical card. 

We will inform you as soon as library loans can be processed with the ISIC in the mobile app. Until then, please continue to bring your traditional card to the libraries.
