The Staff Training Week 2025 will take place at Charles University libraries in two terms:

• in May – ! REGISTRATION IS OVER ! 19/05/25 – 23/05/25,
• in October – from Monday 20/10/25, until Friday, 24/10/25.

We do not provide the individual Erasmus+ training.

The registration fee for both terms is 100 €. The fee covers:

• excursions to the national libraries,
• small refreshments during the Central Library programme, and practical arrangements.

It does not cover meals, accommodation, or transport around the city.

To apply for the training, please email erasmus-lib@cuni.cz a brief CV and a short motivation letter describing what convinced you to apply for and mentioning what you are focused on at your work.

If capacity is exceeded, the final list of participants will be chosen within the selection procedure according to the CVs and motivation letters. The total capacity for each term is 10 participants.

Participants are invited mainly to visit different faculty libraries of Charles University. They will also visit the Central Library, which represents the hub and supporting body for all other Charles University libraries. One or two excursions to some of the national libraries are also part of the experience.

The whole program is held in English.

Participants are expected to cover their expenses, e.g. with the Erasmus+ grant provided by their home institution.

Please do not make travel arrangements before your participation is confirmed.

Confirmation of participation and a detailed programme with information about accommodation and transportation options are sent to participants after the registration and evaluation of the applications.
